Who we areIEC Engineering, founded in 2024, is a Belgium-based specialist in heavy lifting and hydromechanical systems — the European engineering and project-management arm of IŞIK Mühendislik, Ankara.
IEC exists to bring the engineering and manufacturing capability of a major crane builder closer to clients in the European Union — with the responsiveness and single-point accountability of a small, senior team.
From our office in Belgium, we handle engineering, consultancy and project management for European clients, while heavy fabrication takes place at IŞIK Mühendislik in Ankara. Our work includes the engineering and project management of a 1,750 t/h grab ship unloader for ArcelorMittal Gent.
